11 yoga classes from Brighton's best yoga studios held in the open air on our beautiful Brighton seafront.
Every body welcome - all classes are FREE.
Find us on the piazza in front of Rampion Visitor Centre, 76, Kings Road Arches, Brighton BN1 2FN, next to the i360 and West Beach Bar & Kitchen.
Come with an open mind, wearing comfortable clothing and enjoy what yoga has to offer.
All classes are suitable for beginners and designed for every body. You will be guided through the class by an experienced teacher. No need to bring a mat - we have plenty.

The Unity Centre: 9am - 9:50am
Class description: Unity Yoga A deep and meditative flow through stillness and sacred movement. The movement quality is fluid, focusing on the breath, gravity and release. Time is spent establishing a meditative foundation.
Teacher: Sevanti has taught dance, yoga, massage, bodywork and healing since 1998. She established the Unity School in 2002 and is an IYN Yoga Elder (extensive teaching hours). She opened ‘The Unity Studio’ in Brighton in 2012, and in 2017 secured the former ‘Turkish Baths’ building in Lewes as the ultimate home for her vision.
Studio Partner: The Unity Centre is a lovingly renovated, landmark spa and studio in the heart of Lewes, East Sussex. In beautiful surroundings, our friendly Unity team offers restorative floats, saunas, massage therapies, facials and other treatments, together with classes and workshops in yoga, Pilates, meditation, qi gong and more, plus community services and a comfy vegan lounge-café.
The Old School Studio: 10am - 10:50am
Class Description: Vinyasa Flow
Teacher: Fiona Condie. Fiona’s teaching draws on over 25 years of deeply rooted practice, while integrating her in-depth anatomical knowledge into her therapeutic approach to asana. Her personal practice continues to evolve from its original roots in the precision asana presented by Iyengar, to a current style of breath based flowing movement most akin to a Vinyasa Flow.
Studio Partner: The Old School Studio, West Hove was founded in 2021 by Fiona Condie of Yoga with Fiona. As an established yoga teacher and Functional Movement therapist, Fiona has created this beautifully renovated space to offer a full timetable of classes as well as therapeutic bodywork treatments and educational events.
About Balance: 11am - 11:50am
Class description: Traditional yoga practice - pranayama, meditation, sun salutations to energise and warm the body, a grounded flow style sequence of traditional postures, with a yoga Nidra to finish.
Teacher: Allison Alexander. Allison has been studying and practising yoga for many years and is on a lifelong journey of discovery guided by the 8-limbs of this powerful life-science. Her teaching style encourages autonomy and freedom of movement within the framework of a guided practice. She encourages you to move powerfully and dynamically to find your inner strength and power, alongside softness and lightness of being.
Studio Partner: About Balance is a low-cost community wellbeing centre in the heart of Brighton, located just off the North Laines. With a mission is to make wellbeing affordable and accessible to all - everybody is welcome!
Brighton Natural Health Centre: 12pm - 12:50pm
Class description: Vajrasati Yoga: a gentle asana (posture) class, with a meditative focus on the breath and present-moment awareness.
Teacher: Pablo Wilson. Pablo has been teaching yoga for 13 years. He graduated from the Yoga Haven school in 2009, and more recently completed the 500-hour Vajrasati teacher training - the highest accreditation available for a teacher training course.He weaves yoga philosophy into his sessions which have a meditative focus on the breath and present-moment awareness.
Studio Partner: The Brighton Natural Health Centre (BNHC) is a registered charity founded by Infinity Foods in 1981. At our centre in the North Laine, we offer a wide range of movement classes to support physical and mental health and wellbeing.
Brighton Yoga Foundation: 1pm - 1:50pm
Class description: Sun Power Yoga – a traditional yoga class, beginning with grounding and pranayama, moving into sun salutations to get the internal fire blazing as we move into a strengthening yet gentle asana practice. The class ends with full guided relaxation. Everybody is welcome, you will be guided.
Teacher: Nataliya Asare. Nataliya has taught yoga for five years and recently completed her 500-hour Teacher Training. She teaches in gyms, schools, corporate settings and private classes across Brighton and is a Trustee at the Brighton Yoga Foundation, working with them to organise funded yoga projects for young people in schools and community settings in Brighton and Hove.
Studio Partner: Brighton Yoga Foundation is the registered charity aimed at bringing the positive mental and physical benefits of yoga to those that cannot access it. Offering weekly classes - all free to attend.
Yoga In the Lanes: 2pm - 2:50pm
Class description: Classic (Hot) Hatha 26 & 2 Sequence. This Classic Beginners series is made up of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. Be prepared to stretch, strengthen and flush everything inside and out. Accessible for ALL.
Teacher: Zara Esmaeilli began her yoga practice in 2009 when she walked into her first hot yoga class. Instantly she noticed the internal benefits. The practice improved her levels of determination, strength, flexibility and patience in both body and mind. Since then she has deepened her own practice and explored other styles of yoga and meditation, allowing her to understand the true nature of yoga and how each body is different and unique.
Studio Partner: Yoga in the Lanes yoga school is located in the very heart of Brighton. Open every day for yoga classes and welcome beginners to join their yoga community. YITL school has a strong teaching tradition where beginners are made to feel welcome. Be prepared to work hard, fall out of postures, laugh at yourself and begin again!
Studio iO: 3pm - 3:50pm
Class description: Mindful flow yoga - Sandra will teach a playful and flowing class for all abilities and bodies. The class will be taught with a hint of humour, lots of love and kindness and will end in guided relaxation.
Teacher: Sandra Stein. Sandra completed her yoga teacher training with YogaCampus in London in 2017 and is currently training to become a Yoga Therapist. Her creative approach to teaching is rooted in a strong yoga foundation, and background in gymnastics. She takes inspiration from a variety of therapeutic and somatic movement modalities.
Studio Partner: Studio iO offers a beautiful light and tranquil space in central Brighton. Holly Cooper started Studio iO in 2012 with the vision to create space that was far away from dark and cold village halls, a space that when you walked in, you immediately felt calm and at ease.
Natural Bodies: 4pm - 4:50pm
Class description: Awakening the Spine and Feet
Teacher: Gary Carter has over 30 years of experience in movement physical training, anatomical study and bodywork practices. With a background in athletics, competition cycling, bodybuilding, martial arts, yoga and manual therapies, he himself has studied with many inspiring teachers. trainers and masters in their fields including the training in ‘elasticity of the spine and stretching’ at age 14 by a professional cycling coach.
Studio Partner: Gary started the Natural Bodies Centre in Brighton in 1991 to teach, train and encourage kinesthetic awareness, ease of movement, efficient body use in exercise, sport and many movement disciplines which can bring a renewed sense of health and vitality through into everyday life through revolutionised personal training techniques, Yoga, Pilates, Gyrotonics, Martial Arts and Fascial Movement practices.
Inbodhi Yoga Circle: 5pm - 5:50pm
Class description: Rocket Vinyasa. Rocket is inspired by the classical Ashtanga Vinyasa series. It is a perfect marriage of tempo and sequence, suitable for all level students. The full range of modifications are offered during the class, so that practitioners of all levels can go experience Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, breath and asana from where they are in their practice.
Teacher: Itzi Castaño. Itzi's yoga journey began in 2016 and deepened when she was introduced to Bikram a year later. She didn't quite enjoy her first class, but very much liked the way she felt after the class - and just like that she was hooked! She then stumbled across Ashtanga and was able to practice under the guidance of Doug Taukobong-Olsen, and as she found her breath she also fell in love with the Full Primary sequence.
Studio Partner: Inbodhi Yoga Circle is a collective of seven yoga studios and locations in Europe. Following the teachings of Larry Schultz, we offer classes, workshops and teacher trainings in The Rocket and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as well as Yin and Restorative Yoga. Inbodhi is a commUNITY - both locally and internationally - and we can't wait to welcome you.
The Float Spa: 6pm - 6:50pm
Class description: Mindful Yoga. Sarah aims to create a loving and supportive environment in which students can intuitively explore movement in a way that serves their unique body and circumstances. Her style is slow and mindful with some playful elements.
Teacher: Sarah Huettmann. Sarah is passionate about a holistic approach to wellbeing and believes that everybody can benefit from incorporating yoga into their lives. She sees her role more like a guide on your path of self-discovery, rather than an instructor telling you what to do. Trained in mat yoga, chair yoga and massage - sometimes offers a sneaky massage at the end of the class.
Studio Partner: The Float Spa, Hove has a relaxation studio which is the perfect sanctuary for practicing yoga and complements all the other services offered such as floatation & complementary therapies available at the central Hove location, all classes and therapies are aimed at improving your mental and physical wellbeing.
Revitalise 7pm - 7:50pm
Class description: Dynamic Vinyasa Flow (with ambient DJ set)
Teacher: Bex White. Bex’s yoga journey began in New York in 2013 when she discovered yoga was the remedy to healing a recent back injury, as well as alleviating the stresses and strains of fast-paced city life. After establishing regular practice in a variety of styles, from restorative to hot dynamic yoga, her passion for yoga really took off when she began sharing experiences and personal growth with others. In 2018, she completed her 200-hour certification in Hatha and Vinyasa Flow Yoga at Revitalise. Coming from a creative background, Bex loves to teach fun, flowing classes, to get the body warm and the mind relaxed, without taking things too seriously!
Studio Partner: Revitalise is a welcoming and inclusive studio aiming to make yoga and Pilates accessible to anyone, no matter what your age, gender, size or ability. The Revitalise studios in the centre of Brighton and Hove comprise three small studios with a maximum nine-student capacity, so you can grow and develop your practice quickly.
