Yoga and Myth: Durga’s Courage – Arenze Fischer

A yoga class with a difference!

Sunday, July 25, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm BST

Virtual Event Virtual Event

A yoga class with a difference! Arenze shares the myth of goddess Durga’s battle against demon king Mahishasura. Together we explore the story through a flow, inspired by the qualities of Durga: courage, strength and compassion, incorporating mudra and mantra to evoke the warrior goddess within each of us. We finish with meditation to allow the impressions from the class to sink in.

Arenze developed this workshop as part of a series of workshops based on myths. She uses storytelling to introduce philosophy, to keep classes interesting and to inspire you to approach your yoga practice in a new way.

Please donate generously as all proceeds from the festival will be used to support our year-round community yoga outreach programmes.
